EMDR CONSULTATION
for Therapists
Confidence. Clarity. Clinical Steadiness.
You’ve completed EMDR training.
You may have even completed multiple trainings.
You understand the model.
You believe in the work.
And then you sit down with a real client.
Dissociation complicates processing.
Targets don’t move the way you expect them to.
A client with chronic illness doesn’t fit the structure you were taught.
Sessions require more clinical judgment than the manual prepared you for.
EMDR in real practice asks for more than protocol recall.
It asks for discernment.
It asks for pacing.
It asks for steady clinical presence when things aren’t linear.
Consultation is where that steadiness deepens.
Not as a place to prove yourself.
Not as a place to perform the model “correctly.”
But it is a space to strengthen your thinking, refine your decision-making, and practice EMDR with clarity in complex clinical situations.
This consultation is designed for clinicians who want depth, not shortcuts, and who value ethical, nervous-system-informed care when the work gets layered.
How Consultation Is Offered
There are two ways to work with me, depending on the kind of support you’re looking for.
Individual EMDR Consultation
One-on-one consultation tailored to your clinical questions, cases, and pacing.
This format offers focused attention and flexibility, especially when you’re navigating particularly complex material or want more concentrated feedback. Individual consultations are priced a bit differently as well.
$150 per session, scheduled as needed
$1,200 for a package of 10 sessions (sessions must be scheduled within 12 months)
EMDR Consultation Cohorts
Small, closed groups are designed for sustained clinical integration over time.
These cohorts provide a consistent, collaborative space to think critically, bring real cases, and deepen your EMDR work within a steady group of peers. Each cohort focuses on a specific area of practice, so the conversation can go deeper, not wider.

Choosing Between Cohort and Individual Consultation
Both formats offer meaningful clinical growth, but they function differently.
Individual consultation can be a good fit if you prefer privacy, want scheduling flexibility, or are working through particularly sensitive cases. It can also be supportive if group spaces tend to increase anxiety or make it harder for you to think clearly.
That said, one of the unique strengths of cohort consultation is the depth that emerges over time in a consistent group. Hearing how other clinicians conceptualize cases, adapt EMDR, and navigate stuck points often expands your own thinking in ways that individual consultation simply can’t replicate.
There is also something grounding about realizing you are not the only one navigating complexity.
Practically speaking, some clinicians find it challenging to consistently fill a full 60-minute individual session with focused material, especially if their caseload fluctuates. Cohort consultation tends to provide steady clinical momentum because multiple cases and perspectives are brought into the space each month.
If you’re unsure which format would support you best, you’re welcome to reach out. We can think through what would feel most productive and sustainable for you right now.
A Note on Fit
My consultation style is steady, thoughtful, resourceful, and collaborative. I’m less interested in whether you executed the protocol perfectly and more interested in how you’re conceptualizing the case and responding to what’s happening in the room.
If you’re looking for consultation that supports your clinical growth, strengthens your decision-making, and respects the complexity of trauma work, this may be a good fit.
If you’re unsure which format makes the most sense, you’re welcome to reach out.
You don’t have to navigate complex EMDR work alone, and you don’t have to dilute your clinical depth to do it well.
What You Can Expect
Across all formats, consultation includes:
EMDRIA-approved consultation hours.
Real case discussion grounded in actual clinical dilemmas.
Strengthening EMDR case conceptualization.
Support navigating stuck or looping processing.
Ethical adaptation when sessions don’t follow a clean protocol.
Ongoing attention to pacing, stabilization, and nervous system capacity.
As an EMDRIA-approved consultant and certified clinician whose clinical work centers on complex trauma, dissociation, and chronic illness, I approach consultation with both structure and flexibility, grounded in the realities of sustained trauma treatment.
When You’re Ready
If you want a steadier clinical footing and a space to think clearly about the work you’re doing, you’re welcome here.
Spring consultation cohorts begin in March, and enrollment opens in advance to allow time for thoughtful placement and preparation.
You can explore the consultation option that fits your needs:

Cohorts are intentionally small to allow for meaningful discussion and sustained growth over time.
If this feels aligned with where you are in your clinical work, I’d be glad to support you.
